Challenge

An electronics manufacturer in China rejected two prior African copper shipments due to unverified arsenic levels and inconsistent moisture content. The variability disrupted their smelting process and triggered costly production line stoppages.

Solution

We sourced 12 tonnes of copper concentrate from a DMRE-licensed site in Rustenburg, South Africa. Our team used a Fluke moisture meter (8.3%) and oversaw sampling for ALS Johannesburg. The assay confirmed Cu 28.6%, As 0.04%. Full GACC-aligned documentation enabled first-time clearance in Shanghai.
